It's not a surprise that over the course of three years things have changed dramatically. The drive through a city that I once lived in for eleven years, it seems like some things will never ever change. In the last two since my last visit here, districts have transformed, moved and replaced faster than ever before. Buildings that once were landmarks to a common commuter are now gone. New areas being developed. It's pretty crazy.
All that goes same for people as well. Some of them don't really change and stay almost the same as they have all the time. Or perhaps that I'm being over sensitive to all this. All I know for sure is that being away, you have withdrawn from a community. How it changes, and develops is all dependent on choices people have made and the tension that arises between one another. No longer can you expect the same from every person. We all grow older, become wiser – change.
Change should never be taken in a derogatory way, only change can allow for advancement. Whether it be good or bad, it's all relative in our own eyes. It's only what we make of it that matters.
