Too many things have happened over the day. Technically it's one and a half days because of that dateline that causes everyone's circadian clock to go haywire. You'll have to suffice with point form, just to make sure I gather all my thoughts.
1. Plane – It wasn't that bad. An awfully crowded plane with the variation of Mainlanders, Taiwanese, odd caucasians here and there and of course the Hong Kongers. I was glad not to be sitting beside a child, although a middle seat wasn't preferable.
2. Customs – There are some things that never change once you walk through the airport. Reminiscing about the absence of Tim Hortons in HK or other random things such as seeing the sky. Customs was chill and completely at ease. My fan and I however did get chosen to be the lucky ones to get searched. They were friendly anyway so it didn't really matter. The generalisation that Canadians are nice is so true.
3. Doing the things I need to – There's a list a things for me to do and its a hit and miss for each of them. It's also reflecting upon all the changes that happen over the years. The scenery changes definitely as much as people. We'll see how that turns out once I get to meet up with more of them.
4. Settling into a home – Family friends are always cool to hang out with. Catch up with the changes and get to catch up in the current news of the city.
It's been pretty cool so far. Getting pretty tired but its alright. 9 pm. I'm thinking I'm not going to suffer ___ ___ not going to jinx it (not that I believe in it)
